Gospel Plus sings at Southland SingFest in First Church in October 2023
The SingFest brings out seven or eight Southland choruses each year to perform at First Church in Invercargill for each other and the public. This was the first time that we had sung in this event; it is a beautiful church to sing in, with great acoustics. The variety of the performances was inspiring and the sound was awesome.
Gospel Plus sings with the Southland Orphans' Music Club in July 2023
We had a great afternoon with the Orphans' Music Club in mid-July. Some of their musicians played for us, and Shirley Cranstoun played her ukulele and sang some songs - hilariously! We loved them all.
We entertained them in turn. Thanks for inviting us and for the afternoon tea!
